The Zero Tolerance 0450 is a collaboration between ZT and custom knifemaker Dmitry Sinkevich and is based on the award-winning ZT0454 which was sold as Limited Edition only. The 0450’s blade is built of Crucible S35VN stainless steel. This powdered metallurgy steel is extremely fine-grained so it can be sharpened to a razor edge. Added niobium and nitrogen enhance toughness to resist chipping and provide excellent edge retention. Yet it’s also easy to re-sharpen. With it's KVT ball bearing, the 0450 is as easy to open as any assisted knife, but without the need for a spring.
The S35VN blade of the version 0450CF is DLC coated matte-black good, the front handle scale is made of carbon fiber, the DLC-coated titanium back handle offers a secure frame lock—so you can always cut with confidence. As an extra visual touch, ZT has added two emerald-green anodized-aluminum tube spacers that are especially eye-catching, standing out against the black handle. The reversible pocketclip enables you to carry comfortably left- or right-handed.-
