Cold Steel AD-15 Spear Point

The model AD-15 from Cold Steel is a solid, medium sized folder with a 9.4cm long Spear Point blade made of american S35VN stainless steel featuring a contrasting finish on the ground and on the unground parts of the blade.-

              The extraordinary feature of the AD-15 is the Scorpion lock designed by Andrew Demko in the upper portion of the handle, called the “yoke”.- It includes an integral back spacer which conceals a strong compression spring.- If the blade is opened, the yoke will engage in a notch in the blades tongue and the blade is securely held by the spring pressure.- 

              The blade is opened using one of the 2 thumb pins, once the yoke is opened just a swing of the wrist will fully deploy the blade.

              The lower part and the pommel of the handle are made of contoured G10 for a firm grip, the upper part (the yoke) is made of hard anodized black aluminium 6061.-

              The AD-15's pocket clip is reversible, so the rugged folder can be carried left side as well as on the right side (tip-up).-
