The Cold Steel Bush Ranger Lockback was inspired from a long time Cod Steel classic with the same name, a fixed Field Knife designed by Lynn C. Thompson.- The Bush Ranger Fixed Blade was very much valued because of it's comfortable handle inciting the designer Mike Wallace to create a folding knife that also feels great in the hand for extended periods of time without causing fatigue.-
The contoured brown CNC machined G10 handle really meets this demands! - The close to 9cm Clip-Point blade of the Bush Ranger is made of american S35VN-stainless steel, we have measured a maximum thickness of 3.92mm at the ricasso.-
At this blade thickness, the Bush Ranger can't fit the category of the light weight folders, it is more one of the rugged species.-
To legalize the Bush Ranger in Germany, the Andrew-Demko-thumb-plate can be removed by unbolting a single Allen screw, but this leaves an ugly 90°corner on the blade's back as it is to be seen on one of our pictures.
The lockback features Cold Steels 'Tri-Ad-Lock' - it is equipped with a reversible (left/right - Tip-Up) pocket clip.-
