KA-BAR 5350 IFB Drop Point

The IFB - presented here is the drop point version - is a rugged fixed blade with a good value from KA-BAR.-

              It features a flat ground drop point blade of 12.2cm length at a thickness of 4.1mm made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a black powder coating.-

              The handle features scales made of black G10 and a 5mm in diameter lanyard eyelet.- It has a comfortable length of 12.5cm and - with the finger groove on the bottom side behind the ricasso - it provides a firm grip.

               The KA-BAR IFB comes with a moulded MOLLE-compatible hard plastic sheath with 2 screwed on belt loops, allowing for various carrying options.-

Our bottom line:

The KA-BAR IFB is an inexpensive entrance in the world of brand outdoor knives and a good all-rounder.- For our opinion it's week point is the hard plastic sheath which requires a considerable power to pull the kife as long as the sheath is new and the stiff plastic loops which only allow for belts up to 3.8cm in height.- So in case of doubt you may order the low-cost leather drop point sheath # 3892 (see below) additionally.
