The 'OSI' model from Cold Steel is a large hunting and military knife with a 20.9cm flat ground blade made of japanese AUS 8A-stainless steel at a maximum thickness of 4.7mm.-
The handle is made of black Kray-Ex for a firm but comfortable grip - even under wet conditions.- It additionally features a subhilt which nearly "locks" your forefinger in place.-
By the use of a light handle material like Kray-Ex, the weight of the OSI was held low at 248 grams, which is little for a large knife like the 'OSI' - The lanyard eyelet of the OSI has a diameter of 4mm, so a lanyard of Paracord 550 will be no problem....
The Cold Steel OSI is shipped with a reversible Secure-Ex-sheath as pictured above with a fixed belt clip.-
