The Condor Travelhawk Axe is a design of survival expert Tony Lennartz, inspired by the Sceggox axe of the Vikings and the ulu of the Inuit. - Whilst the Vikings used the Sceggox axe mainly as a weapon, the ulu was used by the Inuit as an universal knife to skin game as well as for chopping food.-
As the Travelhawk Axe can be demounted without the help of tools, it can be used as an ulu knife as well.- It features an axe head forged of 1060 High Carbon Steel and a Hickory handle, has a total length of approx. 41cm and weighs a bit more than 800 grams without the cutting guard.-
