Ka-Bar Machete Cutlass

Kindly note that the Cutlass Machete is categorized in "Heavy Cutting Tools".- It is a middle-sized machete with a blade‘s thickness of 4.0 mm and it offers real „can-do-qualities“, fits the hand perfectly and with a weight of 500 grams it is not too heavy for a knife of this class.-

The approx. 28.0 cm long blade was manufactured in a 20°-angled hollow grind of black power-coated 1085 Carbon steel, and the Kraton handle disposes of a retaining band loop, lies firmly in the hand and feels very comfortable.-

Regarding the sheath they used a combination between Cordura with leather binding and loop for Thigh attachment suspended moveably on the enormous belt loop. The knife will be fixed by two leather fastening straps with push buttons.-

Altogether, it will be a very interesting choice if you search for a middle-sized machete with an outstanding cost/performance ratio and which is not too slight.-
