This KA-BAR model features as well as the USMC a leather handle, the blade is made of black-coated 4.3 mm thick not stainless 1095 Carbon steel and is 7“ long (approx. 18.0 cm)... (Pommel is also made of 1095 black-coated Carbon steel); The 'Dog'sHead 1317' is shipped with a brown  leather sheath with fastener loop.- The difference between both models are shown on one of the pictures above...
