The Brous Blades Icon Linerlock folder is the result of a collaboration of Jason Brous and the knife designer TJ Swartz.- It is designed as a EDC-knife and convinces with an impressive sleek and slim outline.
The Icon features an 8.4cm hollow ground Drop-Point blade made of D2 steel with a satin finish.-
The stainless steel liners are skeletonized in order to save weight and are overlaid with blue anodised handle scales made of 6061 aluminium.-
Alike most other Brous folders, the Icon comes with the Brous bearing for an easy one handed opening, but as the flipper is kept pretty small for aesthetic reasons, the forefinger has to be positioned in the front groove on the upper scales side (as shown on our picture) when opening the Icon in order to get over the detent.-
The Icon too features a stainless steel backspacer with a lanyard eyelet of about 14 x 3mm and a anodised stainless steel pocket clip (right/tip-up).-
