Cold Steel Recon Tanto San Mai

The model Recon Tanto is one of Cold Steels classic designs for 30 years when Cold Steel started as the first US-manufacturer producing Tanto-blades and convincing knife enthusiasts of the advantages of the tanto blade shape.-

                    The Recon Tanto has been improved several times in the meanwhile up to the version presented here.- Cold Steel offers this knife with different blade steels, this is the model with a close to 18cm long blade of VG10 San Mai Stainless Steel.

                     The blade - with a thickness  of 5mm - is hollow ground and the ground sections are satined whilest all unground parts of the blade feature a contrasting line-grain finish.-

                     The 12cm long handle of the Recon Tanto is made of black Kray-Ex for a firm but comfortable grip featuring a cased 5mm Ø lanyard eyelet.-

                     The Cold Steel Recon Tanto is shipped with a Secure-Ex-sheath as pictured above.- As Cold Steel names this knife a combat knife, a proof of legal age is required for customers living in Germany.- For international customers the laws and regulations of their home country apply.
