The Cold Steel SR1 Lite is a large solid Lockback with a 10cm blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel.- With a weight of more than 300 grams it is not leightweight at all.- The attribute 'lite' simply means that it's more affordable as the original SR1 (the price of the SR1 Lite is about one third of the price of the original SR1).-
This was achieved by using a lower priced blade steel (8Cr14MoV instead of CPM-S35VN) and a lower priced handle material (Griv-Ex™ instead of G10).-
Remaining constant is a sturdy and massive Lockback at a reasonable price with a reversible pocket clip (tip-up).-
